You can have the best experience of surfing at the following places in Maldives:

The Southern Atolls and its short seasons from March to june provide a great weather for surfing. During these times, light winds blow with clear skies. The fishing at this time becomes phenomenal and the snorkelling experience is mind-blowing. Southwest and southeast swell comes under this region, so there is a great chance of getting high waves somewhere and thus the setups are numerous and vary from place to place.

The Central Atolls consists of a large number of islands which are exposed to southwest swell and others southeast swell. The region promotes some good quality breaks that are suitable to most surfers to surf on the bigger waves. Mid season is best for surfing in the central atolls. The distance between every break means you may be surfing some miles, but here the crowds are low, and the waves provide great fun. There are scenic islands having upmarket resorts and native villages.

This area has some great quality of arrangements for providing surfing training and sports. For this purpose, we require southeast swell which is found here. When the surf is on, there are usually winds, so there are waves everywhere. It can get a little busy because everyone chooses this place as it is close to the main city but the waves are great fun and when it's bigger the crowd thins out somewhat, as there are a few trained people for such bigger waves. You will get waves here for the whole  year but waves are prominent from April to October.

These are the best places in Maldives where you can go for surfing. There are other placed as well but these provide the best experience of surfing. The above information was all about the surfing- things to do in Maldives. Here you get to have trainers as well. So, it's all safe and your safety is the first thing kept in mind. Maldives is considered to be one of the best places for surfing and many surfing events also take place in Maldives.
